An online shop, all set up for you: with the exception of loading your catalogue of items. Includes a free .co.uk domain name, a SSL certificate (so your customers see the padlock when signing in) and one year's support and web hosting.	£895

Site Composition

What is in a 15-page site?.

When you reduce the pages on site (such as this one) to their basic elements, most pages are one of three types:

A contact page with an 'email us' form and perhaps a map of the business location.
A page about a given topic, with some words and some images.
The home page, which is a specialised version of type 2, in that it usually has a different layout to catch the visitor's attention when he or she first visits the site.

If your site contains only the above three type of page then the guideline price will almost certainly be the price you are quoted.

What sort of things count as extras?

Let's say you have a restaurant. You can ask visitors to email you using the contact page to make a booking. That's included in the guideline price.

However you might wish to have a reservation system included in the site, which :

checks for availability
makes a reservation if there is availability at the requested time
suggest an alternative time if the requested time has no availability
emails you when the customer has made a booking
sends a text message to the customer to confirm his reservation (which looks very professional and ensures that you get their phone number accurately).
gives you access to a page on the site which shows your reservations for a given day.

This sort of feature would be created specifically around your needs and would be quoted as an optional extra, on top of the guideline price.
